We had the great pleasure to visit the Old Clare in Chippendale an area recently experiencing a surge of tastefully done gentrification carefully controlled by the local council. Home to an ambitious sunken entertainment space at the nearby Central park Mall and the Kensington Street precinct, the White Rabbit Gallery specializing in Chinese art and a side street of oriental themed food hideouts. There is a lot to explore within walking distance before you even think about heading to Redfern or Surrey Hills!
