The Old Clare, Chippendale, Sydney

We LOVE the Unlisted Collection properties.
Loh Lik Peng the mastermind behind it all is determined to save unique buildings from the wreckers ball and turn them into an amazing hotel.
We had the great pleasure to visit the Old Clare in Chippendale an area recently experiencing a surge of tastefully done gentrification carefully controlled by the local council. Home to an ambitious sunken entertainment space at the nearby Central park Mall and the Kensington Street precinct, the White Rabbit Gallery specializing in Chinese art and a side street of oriental themed food hideouts. There is a lot to explore within walking distance before you even think about heading to Redfern or Surrey Hills!
Start your day with fully Ozzy breakfast including Black Pudding at the Kensington Street Social adjoining the hotel.
Explore the area...
go to lunch at Spice Alley
then grab a desert at Koi nearby.
